yeah i was drivin one day and then i felt a pop and one of the two springs under my accelerator pedal broke and fell off. i can still drive with the one spring but now my gas pedal is feather light an it makes my car all jerk around. i was jus wantin to warn people that it may happen. the other thing that sucks is that i went to the dealership to get another spring and they told me that i had to buy the pedal kit for $156.00 that i couldnt jus get the little friggen spring! they wouldnt jus give me a spring after i get a car from them for 22,000. i tried the to see also about the junk yards about pulling one of the springs out of a Z there but, of course like i told the people that told me to go to the yard that no one in their right mind would put a Z in a junk yard. is there anyone out there that can help me out with is?!?! if there is anyone out there with an extra spring, ya think i could grab it from you!

 

Not 100% sure I haven't seen the spring but couldn't you find maybe a 300zx or a altima in the junk yard with a spring? Just tossing some ideas, most manufactures will use universal car parts to toss on other models its just a thought don't hate if it don't work.

 

Don't need to fix it. Just keep the pedal to the metal at all times
