Dealers use what ever brand of oil they prefer. All should be 5w30 and synthetic is not recommended until after your 2nd oil change per the manufacturer.

put do dealers put the initial oil into the engine? I thought the factory did. I am trying to find out what comes from the Factory. Cause that is what will be in it if the oil has never been changed.

maybe this is top secret info. so hard to find out.

Elf Moto (a European brand owned by Total) worked with Nissan/Renault on engine oil in the past few years, according to their web site. Safe to assume that's what comes from the factory. As for your local dealer, like someone else, that would depend on whomever they sign the contract with.

Trust me ---Any good standard oil is perfect until you do the syn-oil fill. There are no measuring devices in the Universe that would show ill effects
