Question Steering noise. Need help!

Any help identifying the problem is highly Appreciated.

After installing Sways and going AutoX my car started to make clunking noises.
I figured it was the sway bar or the end links.
I changed every bushing and double check everything but it wasn't it.
Then we thought it was the driver front Strut bar so I took it to the dealer.

While changing my tranny under warranty, the dealership told me it was steering column.
Mechanic said the noise is coming from the firewall area and they would need to get into the area through the interior.

Before I go to Dealership and spend money, I was wondering if any of you had the same issue or know what it could be.

SO to sum up: Clunking noise when turning wheel, specially while making a u-turn or parking.
It's gotten louder with time.
I have checked the power steering fluid and it good.

Thank you in advance.

I have Hotchkis and don't have any clunking problems. Have you seen this thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/248132-does-your-aftermarket-swaybar-make-clunking-popping-knocking-noises.html

I believe that is the one with a few suggestions in it on how to solve the clunking problems with some swaybars.

If you have already put new end links on then try retorqueing the upper and lower control arm bolts. That clunk can sometimes be felt through the steering column also.

Did you tighten up the endlinks with the car's wheels under normal load - that is, NOT on a lift where the wheels have no weight on them? It sounds dumb, but that's what was causing my noise. If the car was sitting still, and I turned the wheel right and left, I heard "creaking" noises.
