Default Front Lights

There appear to be small cracks on both headlights there are mutiple about five to six little cracks on each side.. It does not seem that they are from road hazard. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I am having problems with the dealer replacing them. I did a search in the forum here but I did not find anything related info. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any suggestions.
Thanks

probly the lamps are too hot then when turned off if the temp is cool enough might cause the cracks.

I've seen this on other cars, but very very rarely. usually from over tightening the mounting fasteners. this will cause too much flexure on the lense and monting body. the mounting body can usually flex more, but the lexan can't. See if the cracks seem to be coming from the mounting point, thus where the bolts are, if so... that's most likely a warranty item. The other situation I've seen with lexan in general is with a lot of ultra violet light, like sun. If you live in arazona or texas or so cal, that could be a problem too.
