So I go outside to brush what little bit of snow that remains on the windshield off and I look and see my driver's side mirror hanging by the wiring From the looks of it no one hit the mirror and knocked it off as it broke at the base. There is no damage to the paint on the mirror, the mirror itself or the car. Looks like it broke at the base. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I just purchased this car used its not even 60 days old yet. I also have the factory bumper to bumper warranty so I wonder if this is covered.

 

Most likely not.

 

That's what I figured. I guess I will call the dealer and see when they can work on the car. Can't ride around town looking like this....and the mirrors are a must have in this car.
