Exclamation Clutch pedal making noise

yea so lately when i press the clutch pedal it makes a clicking/popping sound and is now sitting lower then my brake pedal.. it sits about a half inch lower or maybe more..

yes it has an after market clutch in it.

last night i went to get in my car and i TRIED putting it in reverse but it wouldn't let me..as if the clutch wasn't being pushed in..

so i asked around today and my grandfather was saying it sounds like the master cylinder or slave cylinder is "popping." "getting stuck and unsticking itself"

well i looked around on the web today and found that u can adjust the height of ur pedal by adjusting some of the stuff on the clutch assembly and even adjust the rod for the master cylinder..

i tried it and it has helped for now...but i want to know if maybe my master cylinder is going out or maybe its something completely different. what do u guys think?.

its an ACT clutch..

the sound is coming from where the clutch assembly connects to the firewall..and like i said it makes a strange popping sound.. i really have no idea what to think lol...and of course its no longer under warranty and Nissan is gonna charge an A** raping amount probably

Default Most likely

a bad Master Cylinder. If it worked well after install, then most likely that is your problem. We have seen a few here with high Pressure Plates go out after 5,000 miles or so... ACT has a pretty high pressure plate. It could also just be a leak, check your fluid first..

yea its been about 6k miles since the install..

i checked the fluid and lines no leaks and the fluid is maxed out..

if the MC is the case...should i change to braided steel lines? and do a slave change out too?

I would def do a SS line for that high pressure plate. I noticed a huge difference with the SS line.
