A few months after buying the Z, the passenger side window started making a horrible grinding sound. So Nissan replaced the motor and regulator under warranty. In March of this year, the window stopped rolling down when you open the door and wouldnt stay rolled up. So I had to pay 50 bucks to get it "adjusted" since the warranty doesn't cover "adjustments, just repairs." Now, it has started doing it again!! Is this a problem with Nissans because I know somebody with a 06 Maxima and they are having the same problem (the stealership won't fix their window either.)

 

To my understanding this is a common problem with 03's..... What year is your car?

i took the panels off myself n played doctor... n wahlah im a mech!! lol
i pressed the reset button lol

 

i hav the same problem....so...how exactly did u fix it? can u do a step by step?....where'z the reset button!

 

roll down your windows. .unplug the batt. . wait like 10 minutes~plug back the batt. .roll up the windows. .see if it fixes your problems.. if not. .then you have to take of the door panel and there is a reset button that you hold on the window actuator while u adjust to align the window just right to work properly..all nissans has this feature. .
