Default Clicking noise from Rear Brakes....

I tried to search but it doesn't seem to be working?!?

Anyways, the car was rolling backwards slowly and I lightly applied the brakes to stop it. Heard a fairly loud click, like I had run over a plastic bottle. I pulled the car forwards slowly and applied the brakes again. Click. After about five times going back and forth (neighbours must think I'm nuts) and hearing the click every time... now what?

Has anyone had this issue? I'ts time for an oil change but I would like to be able to tell them what to look for if at all possible.

Cheers!

i had this exact problem. it only clicks the first time you apply the brakes after a change of direction. its the pads and calipers somehow making the noise. the dealer applied some grease to minimize the noise but it is still there, although not as bad. its not terribly audible but if you listen for it, or when you are in a parking structure, you can hear it. here is a tsb for a toyota that explains the same situation as my car. see if it sounds like your problem as well......
