Default Paint damage. I'm going to cry.

Pulling into the garage, not paying attention. I was not drunk.

What is the best way to go about fixing this?

Is this viable? I've never done this to a car before...

Got a much smaller version of that from some *** who bumped my car in a parking lot and left without even leaving a note. Are there scratches in there or just paint? You could try claybarring it out maybe?

Sure, why not. It's much cheaper then going to a body shop. Trust me, it'll cost somewhere near 50 bucks for the buffer.

Ouch....feeling your pain. Took my rear wiper out yesterday and gave my trunk a good 1-2 inch scratch b/c of my clumsiness but your case is worse. Take it to a deatailer and see if they can buff it out.

Try washing the area, clay, then buff. If that dosent get it back to as good as you want, then I would consider body shop treatment.

Yeah, that stuff is for very minor swirling/scratches. Did it remove the paint? Can you feel the scratches or is the paint just scuffed?

If the paint is scraped off, you'll need to take it to a body shop. If it is just scuffed, you may be able to help clean it up using a PC buffer (search about it on here and autopia.org).

From the looks of it, it seems as though this isnt going to be something you'll be able to fix yourself.

Also if the scratches are too deep, body work is also going to be needed to make the surface smooth again.

Sorry about your luck.

Dude, take it to Nissan and have them buff it out, it'll run you no more than 300 bucks.

That's too much damage for touch-up paint.
