Default No Interior Cabin Lights?

I just purchased an '03 and I noticed that the interior cabin lights do not turn on. Now both of the bulbs might be out but I'm guessing there is a fuse for the interior lights. Where is said fuse? Am I just making this up maybe?

If not, IIRC, the inside of the cover for the fuse box has the locations marked.

Thanks guys. Checked the fuses and everything seems fine, no open fuses. Are the red reflectors on the door just reflectors or do they light up also? It's just weird that both the passenger and driver's side lights are out.

Red reflectors on the door ARE just reflectors. Some others have installed LEDs inside to light up.

My '07 has a switch by the lights that have settings to go on when the doors are open or not when they open. Don't know about '03s, but a lot of cars have that feature.

Yeah...it's on the "on" position. I guess both lights must have burned out.

Does anyone know what kinda lights they are? I guess I'll just go out and buy them and hope I don't break anything.

I bought them from Autozone. Click on the link in my sig for the Top 100 questions. There's a post in there that lists all the bulbs needed on the Z.

They are also listed in your owners manual in the Maintenance and DIY section.

Hey before you go out and buy new bulbs try disconnecting your battery and reconnecting it. I had this happen to me and it fixed it. I believe it has to to with the BCM and there was a TSB but after I did that they never went off again so I didn't bother to take my car to the dealer.

My interior dome light also does not light up when the door is opened. However the maplight function still works. I have been stumped on this for a long time now. I've checked all the grounds and there is power to the unit. Any ideas?

Well now that my interior lights work...my lights don't turn on when the doors open but I guess I can live as long as the map lights/vanity mirror lights work.
