My friends 05 z falls out of 4th gear....the dealership said they can not duplicate....and with the history of tranny problems I would like to get it fixed before the warrenty runs out. i was hopeing someone on here might have some leftbrain info that I can use at the dealership to show this is a problem..I am a mechanic, with a a law background so all I need is some info to get the ball rolling to force the hand of the dealer if need be

 

if your friend knows how to make it do it, have him drive the car with tech in it. only way to do it.there is nothing to legally pursue them for if problem cant be duplicated

 

Thanks, but what I am hoping for is maybe something like tsb# ..... states this is a problem, or nissan has chnged part # .... twice in a year for a problem with say the shifting fork... Just something along the lines on forth gear with exception to grinding ( thats already well documented )
