Default Is this normal?

I have noitce for awhile, a very light "whine" noise from the rear of my car. It is noticeable at stand still from inside and outside. Sounds like its coming from the fuel pump.

Is this normal? Is it about to go out? My car only has 52k Miles.

I drove an 04.5 350z and the noise wasn't present.

Fuel pumps normally make a light whine noise. If you can clearly hear your fuel pump from outside the car, then that's probably a sign your fuel pump is working overtime to keep up and may be on its way out.
