I recently purchased an '03 350 and It is time for my first oil change. The car has 44k miles on it and I can't find any information of what oil is currently in it.

What oil should I use?

Should I change it myself to cut costs? If so, how/where do I lift the car up at? It looks like the car has plastic all around the edges.

get 5w30 for stock z. You can pick which one you like. Synthetics are nice but more expensive. I like to do my own oil changes because i don't trust high school kids who work at the lube stations. You can look up the jack points in your manual.
