Default Z is starting to squeak, what could be squeaking?

I have recently noticed a light squeaking sound coming from my Z. I noticed it when driving with my windows down, and the squeak seems to be related to a part that is rotated since it is short yet consistent with my speeds. I mostly notice it when I am just cruising around, usually when I am not braking and it occurs most often when taking left turns for some reason.

Not related yet also occurring, my drivers side door has been squeaking when I open it. I am guessing that it probably just needs lubrication, but I just want to make sure and know how.

Squeaking is indicative that something is worn. If it is the door hinges, a little WD40 will cure the problem.

If you suspect a suspension component then a mechanic will have to get under the car for a inspection.

Care to give us more hints/information on the area the sound is coming from, is this intermittant, any other important details you are wanting us to guess about would be great.

The sound is intermittent since I don't always have the squeak. like I said it seems to occur when I am cruising straight at times, and mostly when I am taking left turns for some reason. My Z is in my sig (06 GT auto, about 26k miles with original brakes). So maybe it is my brakes since I am usually never applying the brakes when I hear the squeak. The only other way I could describe it more is that it is a light squeak, and it is short but consistent with my speeds when it occurs. Probably nothing major, but I still just want to get to the bottom of this since I don't like having a squeaky Z.

Maybe I should bring it in to the dealer and tell them about it, and hopefully they can fix it? Maybe I should have them lubricate the door too.

I also Had a light high pitched squeak comming from the front end of the car. I couldn't replicate it at the dealer. Anyhow, I ended up having to change my brake pads two days ago and alas... NO MORE SQUEAK. It wasn't the kind of squeak you get when engaging your brakes but it only came around when i was in 2500 to 3500 rpm range and then it went away. and would come back occasionally, never heard it when breaking and always heard it coming out of a turn. CHECK your brakes and while your at it your rotors and see whats left because the indicator was what was rubbing occasionally on mine.

edit: I have a 2003 Track just hit 30k and replaced all brakes.

Well damm, that sounds just like what I am experiencing. Do brembo's tend to wear out a little quicker than the standard brakes? Anyways I am pretty convinced that this must be related to my brakes by now, I guess like I will check if they have to be replaced and hopefuly that fixes this.

Also, where would I want to apply the WD40 for my henge squeak?

My z is starting to get intermittent sounds, but more like half squeaky half "TSS TSS TSS" sounding.. dealer says it's normal, so I guess I have to take care of this myself. It is really annoying. Does anyone know if the grease they use to quiet brake pads will work?

Are you talking about caliper grease? The grease that you put between the caliper and pad? I would not install pads without using grease.
