the pivot joint that connects the steering column to rest of the front steering could have been put in when the tires were turned and the steering wheel was straight, or vise versa. happened to me

u gotta make sure the tires are straight...u got to align the steering column back to the way it was before. it's definetly off, even a spine makes a difference. it happened to me. whoever did it was suppose to mark a line so they could know where to put it back to avoid this problem.

fixing this will do it

Sounds like whoever put the headers on had to remove the steering column from the pivot/flex joint to get header access. Then when the headers were on they simply did not make sure the steering wheel was oriented in a horizontal position and the wheels pointing straight forward, then when they were done they either did not test drive your car or were hoping that you wouldn't notice their shiTT* work.

Hope you paid these people in ca$h.

Because the steering linkage was disconnected, and not put back together again properly.

a. Remove the coupler
b. turn the wheel straight
c. Put the coupler back on.

I believed that you did not do the install yourself, guess I was wrong. Either way you know how to fix the problem now.

i kinda knew what the problem was from the get go, and also how to fix it, which we did on the same day so it's all good.

Its under the car next to the drivers header like in the photo. Perfect alignment of the steering wheel might take several attempts.
