Default 5 Quarts of German Castrol 0w-30 and M1 filter $25.99 at AutoZone till March 5th.

Just a heads up guys. Went autozone today to pick up some oil for my 87 MR2 daily and found this deal. This is the best over the counter oil with the M1 0w-40 a close second. normally this stuff runs $6+ per quart and the filter is around $11.00. go stock up while you can!

Damn, that's a good deal! I'll have to stop by there tomorrow.

Now, i'm trying to search right now, but haven't researched what oil to go with for my Vortech setup w/ stock block. Would this be a good oil to run, or would it be too thin? I'm up in WI btw, so I can get pretty cold during the spring/fall (gets stored winters).

Well, I did some more research, and I'm going to give it a shot if they have it around here. I'll drive out to my local Autozone tonight and see what I can find.

its a great oil for a F/I or N/A.

also, dont forget to get the m110 not the m108 filter. the m110 fits perfectly and its a bit larger. price is the same so no reason to go with the m108.

Damn it Nexx, too late! I picked up the 108. Is the 110 simply longer? Or is the diameter actually bigger as well? I'm going to have a sandwich plate on there, so as long as the 110 will still work I might as well go exchange them.

Thanks for posting up this deal though! I wiped out my local Autozone (Milwaukee) of their 12 quarts and two m108's. This deal is for all Syntec oils as well, not just the German Castrol.

^ Your lack of comment on my previous post forced me to do a search on the m110 filter. I like the lack of response better than a "search, dammit!" reply

I'm going back there tomorrow to swap the m108's for the 110's. Maybe I'll try to hit up another Autozone to raid their stash as well.

does anyone know what the difference between the M110 vs M108 filter? i have previously used the M110 but the last time i went to pep boys their literature didn't have the Z33 or G35 listed. i asked the person behind the counter and they recommended the M108. what's up with that?

iirc, the m108 is the same size as OEM. the m110 is a little longer. both are fine. m110 just gives you more filter
