Strange Oil Leak...Please Help!! Pic included!!!
So I'm about to clean my exhaust, and I find this!!!! Could this be why my rear axle is clicking? What should I do next?
It's 2004.0 Touring model with 50K miles on it....
If you're wondering this is right behind my muffler under my car...

you've ruptured your silicone filled diff mount. You'll need to replace that or put in an aluminum one...

its ok to drive it, but its going to allow the diff to move more than it should. It should be a relatively inexpensive fix.

It was either spinning like crazy in the snow last week....or the curb I hopped last week...

as for your axle click you need to lube (molykote is what we use at work, per nissan) behind the rear wheel bearing where it contacts the axle face, and then torque it to the updated specs.

doesnt actually sound to bad if thats for a new sub and alignment. are they replacing it just for the bushing or did you bend something?

They said bushing isn't serviceable, and the need to replace the whole thing...

I highly doubt that is serviceable, it looks like the mount is welded in place from the factory.

That is accurate. The bushing is not servicable. Only comes with the whole subframe.
