I got my car a few thousand miles ago very lightly used. After a recent trip to the dealer i noticed the shift **** and the metal retaining ring under it is turning very easily about 1/8 each way right and left. Its getting annoying and I feel it's doing some tranny damage..I called the dealership and they spoofed me off.
Anyone have this problem before?

 

Check the DIY thread for changing the shift ****. That will help.
