Talking The "Missing" headlight fuses

Well after a looong search it seems there is a EPDM (Electronic Power Distribution Module) hidden in behind/beside the battery that controls the "high current" systems and has the relays/fuses for the headlights ( and other stuff )

This system is CAN controlled so its a smart fusebox but doesn't seem to be well known. Given the fact that i want to do a headlight wattage upgrade i will check the relays etc very carefully as this EPDM is probably verrrrry expensive if it gets stuffed.

Still have to investigate the wiring etc.

Default More on CAN bus system

Seems quite a bit of the Z electronics is controlled by the CAN bus system. If you want to know more about CAN goto http://www.can.bosch.com/

It gets a bit heavy in spots but might explain some of the mysteries.
