Default 100 point courtesy inspection

Well I kept getting that brochure in the mail so I decided to take the car in, I had to take in anyways to get the TMPS calibrated. The 100 point inspection took all of about 10-15 mins and then they wanted to charged m $85 for the TMPS. My dealer usually charges $35 for the TMPS, so needless to say I will wait and take it to my regular dealer. So I think the 100 point inspection was a joke.

To calibrate ur tpms do they need to hook it up to the computer(consult II)? Because the dealership said there are 2 ways to do it by hooking it up to the computer or by placing a remote next to the tire and calibrating it that way which they can do for free. But if they have to hook it up to the computer he said $50. I got a quote for $40 - $50 so far.

It still needs to be hooked up to the consult either way. To just clear the codes all you need is the consult. To calibrate the sensors you need the consult and the hand held remote.
