any one tried the touch up paint from nissan? i have a tiny chip and on a whit car its bugging me.... wondering if anyone had tried either or anyone have a preference? i was siding towards the pen cause it has the paint and clearcoat......whats anyones thoughts?

 

Yeah I got smacked on the hood by a BFR (Big f'n Rock) the 3rd day I got the car..I'm lucky it didn;t do more damage but I have a two nice chips about 1/8" in diameter...I am finally gonna do something about it...the Paint pen with the clear coat from courtesy might do the trick...anyone else try this?

 

I've got both... each works about as well as the other... the pen seems good at poking a dab of color into tiny rock chips and the bottle-brush is good at larger dings and scratches

I've noticed on my Daytona Blue that the touch-up color does not blend all that well with the OEM paint... but it is better than the undercoating showing through

Yeah I ordered the pen because I figure I can dab and dab then wax so it should be ok
