Default Just bought an 05 Z 35th...transmission question

Hello everyone! I just bought a 35th anniversary Z with only 24k miles! Ive of course noticed all the threads on the transmissions and their random problems. My car doesnt show any signs of wear or issues, but I do have one question. What are the differences in the transmissions? Doesthe 05 35th model usually have an "ok" transmission? What should I watch out for? Did I make a good decision on going with the 35th annv model? Thanks a lot in advance and I look forward to learning a lot from this forum.

From CR stats, AND from these threads: The AT is flawless! The MT...not so good. Usually Auto trannies are the problem-prone ones, but, in our beasts, it's the other way around. Manuals are clunky, at best, but can be downright troublesome! Extra bonus for the AT: 274ft/lb-torque engine, vs. 260 in the Manual tranny. So, I got me an '04 Touring Coupe with--you guessed it!--an
AT!!! Good luck.

My 06, which i believe has the same tranny, seems just fine. 23k miles and it works smoothly.

IIRC that all of the '05 35AE and Track models that are MT have the CD009 transmission.

Great......what is the significance of the CD009?

Is that a good thing? Sorry for my ignorance. I know a lot about cars, but Im new to this 350z. Now if it was a turbo car, I know a little more about it. Im just now getting into the NA cars. The NSX is what got me into the NA market. I went from a 21k miles NSX to a 25k miles 350z.....yes I know, dont get me started on the NSX. I bought it with intentions of keeping it, but a guy offered me too much to turn down, so I sold it. I miss it, but the killer deal that I got on my 350z made up for my sellers remorse.....also, the 350z feels like it has more torque.....still two completely different cars though.
