Default cruise control problem

i was driving down the high way and it raining like crazy but i turned on my cruise control and the cruise light comes on and the set light just blinks does any one no what is going on i searched but couldnt find anything

Don't know unless you were hydroplaning a little or wheel spin and TCS threw it out of CC. Never use CC in the rain. Should throw a code if its a problem....

ya nothing else has happend no code but i did shut the car off and then start it again but it still blinks

straight fromthe owner's manual

The light comes on while the vehicle speed is
controlled by the cruise control system. If the
light blinks while the engine is running, it may
indicate the cruise control system is not functioning
properly. Have the system checked by
your NISSAN dealer.

I'll repeat. Don't use CC in the rain.

There was even post here about 2-3 weeks ago with a guy that had CC on and hydro-planed. The cruise control can't sense the rain and may apply too much power in the wrong situation (too much water on the road, incline, etc.) and cause wheel spin.
