Oh and clockwise raises the lamps and can take a while.
Oh and 1 in higher is very dramatic when you're lights are shining 50 feet away so little changes.
And somehow you consider this the ultimate headlight adjustment thread? You've pointed at least 3 other threads (from another site I might add) to it.

Besides the information you have posted is basically a repost of the information I posted a link to above @ http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/tech-z-003/index.asp

"grab a long Phillips screw driver. I believe it's a 12" with a #2 tip."
"it's clockwise for up and counter clockwise for down"
"Keep in mind that small adjustments at eight feet are rather large adjustments at forty feet"

Just tried this adjustment after getting an 8 inch phillips screw driver from Sears. Made three attempts to adjust (adjusting then driving around) and got it where it seems to be an improvement. At least the beams are thrown further, but now they just dont seem to illuminate very well overall , which maybe part of the problem. Seems nissan could have used a stronger/whiter light even for the dims.

that is what happened to me also. light goes further, but not brighter. our HID doesn't seem to have that clean cut off line from other car's HID. but our headlight assembly looks sexy, so its all good.
