TSB Warranty Question?
Yes and No.
Some TSB's have a mileage/time limit on them - the tire feathering TSB for example. Some safety & emissions related TSB's may never expire. I recently got a brake hose related TSB performed on my Toyota that had almost 100K miles on it.
The bottom line is that it all depends on the TSB and what limits Nissan imposes. Call a dealer, they can tell you for sure.

a dead window motor plus install at the dealer is going to run you around 500 bucks + or - some change. what i did was do some searching both here and on ebay and found a window motor from a person parting their Z out and got it much cheaper. then went to an independant mechanic and paid them to install.
i want to say that for what nissan wanted to charge me upwards of 500 bucks for, i had done for a total of 150-160 bucks. i think i paid around 120-130 for the motor and about 40-50 bucks on the install.
good luck
Generally no, but there are exceptions:
1. If you brought an item to Nissan’s attention, and they ordered parts. The parts will be installed when they arrive regardless of your mileage.
2. Same problem - multiple accordances. If you had a window motor replaced, that motor is (usually) guaranteed for an additional 12 months or 12,000 miles.
3. An item which your brought to the attention of Nissan, but they took no action. Lets say that you took the car in for transmission problems twice: once at 50 and again at 55,000 miles (in warranty). On both occasions Nissan says “The transmission is fine. There are no problems.” At 65,000 miles (out of warranty) the transmission MUST be replaced. You’re asking for a warrantee repair for a “pre-existing problem.” In this situation, I would push Nissan for a free repair.

Just went to the dealer today for the two problems above (Window motor and axle click). Dealer wanted $524 to fix the window motor and could not even quote me on the axle because he said he could not get my car on the lift. I cannot wait to see what they did to my body kit...probably scratched to hell if they tried to get it on the lift without using 2x4's like I recommened. This was in VA by the way.

the extended warranty covers everything mechanical on the car that is required for the cars essential operation. anything that has to do with the engine, drivetrain, or wheel and axle system. anything extra on the car is not covered. what falls into this category are the window motors, wiper assemblies, and even the a/c and climate control system are not covered in the extended warranty.
i was uber pissed myself when the motor wasnt covered but i fortunately/unfortunately had an electronic throttle control acctuator go out on me which would have been 850 plus dollars to repair outside the warranty and thank god the extended warranty covered that. so i did get use out of it and it quickly erased the window motor incident from my memory.

I responded with, "so you just don't know." and he was like "yeah, i don't have the specifics." But I asked to have their '1500 component covered items' sent to me so i know exactly what is covered. freakin nissan.
even if you go to the dealer they will not be able to know for sure either. what they will do is bring the car in, diagnose the problem, so they can charge you the diagnostic charge. if the warranty covers it you dont have to pay the diagnostic charge but what they will tell you at the dealership is that different warranties are different so they can call and then tell you that its not covered and then you have to pay the charge, a racket!!!
so save yourself the hassle and just assume the window motor is not covered because it is not.
