Ummm, you might wanna have that looked at. That other person was right...it only works when you're going faster than 20-25MPH. But there isn't any special procedure to get it to work. It usually takes some time (about 30 seconds between samples) to get the first reading, however. Mine worked right out of the box!

I had the same problem. When I bought my car, it had some ugly custom wheels on them and I had them put the stock wheels back on. After I took it home I noticed that the tire pressure gauge never showed any numbers. I brought it back to the dealer and all they had to do was reset or "re-initialize" the tire pressure gauge and it now works. ta-da....

hold on clos, thats different, if your car STILL has aftermarket rims on the car. The tire pressure sensor is originally part of the original stock rims. If you have aftermarket rims, the tire pressure sensor may not have been taken off the original rim and installed on the new one. Check out the tires/wheels section of this forum on more info on how to rig an aftermarket rim with the tire pressure sensor.

oh sh*t, that sucks.

I dont have the originals.. I knew that if i didnt buy rims now, i wouldn't have that kind of money laying around due to the insane amount of money im paying a month for the car. The dealer kept the originals and i got enkei rvt's for an extra $800.

I'm screwed,

anyways thanks for the help.

well if you're willing to spend money, I think you can order the tire sensors by themselves from nissan and then you can install them on your rims yourself, but then you would still have to take the car to the dealer for them to reset the tire pressure computer or whatever so it will start reading. I think they are pretty expensive though.

here are details on installation if you haven't already seen this thread:

Man, I'd go back to the dealer and ask for your pressure sensors back. They cost like $250 EACH. He should have paid you if he kept the stock rims and sensors!
