Default Got car back from the dealer with more problems then when it went in

So I got my car back from the dealer yesterday, they replaced my front tires because of the feathering issue (this is the second time now) and did the 15K service. This is what I got back:

1.Both of my front rims were damaged
2.The pressure reading for the front tires is not working.
3.They did the alignment but now my wheel is a bit off center when going straight. If I center it, the car goes to the left.
4.They supposedly checked all the tire pressures, but one of my rears is 29psi so they didn't.

Who knows what else they did not check and I paid for it (tranny oil, engine idle specs, etc). Now I have to take it back, the service advisor guy said they'll send the wheels out for repair and I'll get a loaner. But that's not the point!!

I'm so mad, I don't need to be dealing with any of this crap

I'm going to have a little chat with the service manager, they've shown a lot of incompetence and I'm very skeptical of their so called "technicians" abilities. My confidence in them was never high, but now is very low, let's see if they do something about it.

This was Nissan of Lynnfield in MA by the way... I think it's time to go look for another dealer, but I know they're all the same (had other bad experiences at another dealer with my 300ZX).

Wow, that sucks!

I agree you should look for another dealer but before that you need to confront their service manager because you paid them for quality work and you didn't get that. Maybe some of the other MA members can help. My dealer in Middletown has been very good so far. They've put my rear spoiler, did my amp replacement, and my driver side window streak and everything they did came out fine.

There are good and bad service departments. It's just a matter of finding a good one. Hopefully, they'll resolve your problems to your satsifaction and then you can move on and find someplace else to have your work done.

Good luck (Saludos).

StoneSilver - Check the ENTIRE car whenever you pick it up after service. There's a thread somewhere about this same topic I think. You'll be surprised what you'll find.

Victor - Gracias, I'm hoping to get this resolved soon.

I'm still debating weather I should let them fix the rims or push to get new ones.

haha, i had my 3000 mile oil change at that dealer...and, yes, they are pretty much morons there. first off, i asked to be by the car when they were working on it...just so i saw him working on it. the guy starts off by stalling the car when he's driving it in to the shop. then as they are putting it up on the lift he's banging the arms to get into place (the car is lowered so another guy had to come and physically lift as much as he could to get the arm under). then, when he lifts the car, i asked about the diffuser in the rear that the track model has on both sides that the other models didn't have on both sides (only one) and he looked at me like i asked him how to build a nuclear missle. he had no idea what the hell i was talking about....brought over the rest of the guys in the shop...and none of them had any idea what i was talking about. i said "forget it, i'll get it off the forum i'm on". then, i asked them to take off the front reflectors since it was already on the lift....it took him maybe 20 second to unscrew them and pop them out and throw them in the passenger seat....and they charged me 80 bucks for that! man, are they really making 14,400 bucks an hour?? haha. well, let me back up...first things first...they didn't have my appointment listed so i had to play back a voicemail on my cell phone that told me to make sure i was at the dealer for the appointment. haha. then, they tried to charge me 15 bucks per quart of synthetic oil. haha. i said no thanks obviously. but, they aren't worth going back to...even though they are only like 7 miles from where i am. i'll go somewhere else next time!

Default bad repair

I would pass on the problems to cars.com- cartalk section, too.
they get nationwide coverage every weekend and 1000's of site hits every day. Click and Clack (Tom and Ray) are pretty sensitive to bad repair shops since they run their own shop....
