Default Fuel Pump or Relay car does not start

Ok I have taken my car to the dealer 3 times. I told them in detail I have checked battery and starter all strong and work. So I tell them it seems like the fule pump I can not hear it when I turn the key in ignition. THen I said or could be relay, the car just turns you all know the sound the sound right before it cranks over and starts that is all you hear. They checked and said it has head pressure when doing diagonostic check. But they tell me your keys lost there program we have to reset with ecm. They do it car starts good for a day and then started doing same thing again with not starting. Have to try and try and then wait then starts. Anyone else have this problem, you input would be appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem. Did you find a resolution or cause?

Does your fuel pump engage when you turn the battery on?
Are fuses and relays good?
have any strange noises began?
did the motor do anything strange/out of the ordinary (besides nor starting)?

I can hear the fuel pump engage when it does start.. if I don't hear it, it doesn't start. No weird noises or sounds... just randomly will not start

So the pump sometimes works and sometimes doesn't? Is that what you mean?

while that IS a solid idea (probably the best idea I've heard all year), I think he wants it fixed. Not replaced. Let's save this post as a "last resort"

fuel pump doesn’t prime. the security light constantly stays on. no service engine soon light. and fans kick on as sook as i turn the key to on. pretty sure its the ecu. i checked the ipdm and those fuses so ecu/ecm is my guess.

and yes it doesnt start up but it will crank.

I see. I was reading the same issue in another thread not too long ago but forgot what the solution was. Maybe @jhc remembers

Fans turning on mean the ECU is dead. It's either one of the two fuses to the ECU or the ECU itself.

figured, and ive checked both fuses for the ecm, one in the driver kick panel and then the one in ipdm behind the battery.

so i guess its time to start searching for a new ecm 🙄

so got a new ecu, had it flashed. Still doesn’t start, still don’t hear the fuel pump, still don’t have a service engine soon light, fans still kick on, red immobilizer light is still lit. Should I check for power to the ecu?
