In brief, i've been doing lots of reading on all the different problems with the 2003 transmissions. I have the standard 3rd and 5th gear grind and stutter everyone else with tranny probs has had, and now the once and a while 6th gear grind also. Have there been anyone been able to have a tranny fixed or replaced after it came out of warranty recently. I brought it to them like 5 months ago and i got the warmup speech, then i brought it up the other day only to find out the guy i talked to doesnt work there anymore. I'm curious to find out because of such a widely known problem i am hoping they offer some sort of help after the car comes off warranty, especially since the car only has 24k and just came off recently being a 2003. Im in the poughkeepsie area of NY, does anyone know who to talk to dealership wise and who not to, cuz this is just ridiculous, and from what i've seen there are way too many other people with the same problems.
