Window film warped?
Has anyone had any problems with their windows? I have an '04 Roadster and it seems the last time I took it to the shop for some minor work from sliding into a curb, when I got the car back, my front windshield looks like it has a warp to it. There was nothing on the front of back of the window, but it appears the film between the 2 panes of glass has warped and now it's blurry looking out the window. I get it on the back window as well. The people at that particular dealership said they have never seen anything like it and of course wouldn't fess up to paying to replace the window even though I'm pretty sure it didn't look like that when I took it in. I haven't seen anything like it before and was wondering if the cold temps back in January could've hurt it since they did have it outside. But I also wouldn't think cold temperature would affect windows that way. I would love to get these windows replaced by manufacturer defect since they aren't cracked or chipped, just the film between the panes is messed up.
Any thoughts?
