HelpP!!! I have a chip in fender and rust has formed and another chip on edge of same fender with rust what can i do short of having body work done? I dont just want to touch up paunt over it cause it wil keep spreading is here any simple fix? and then touch up?
i heard there is a spray or brush on something that kills the rust and turns to black r]primer and that i can then touch up paint over it. What is this product cause the chips are like half the size of my pinky nail

I'm not sure how paint safe these are though. Perhaps if you protect the surrounding area and use a small paint brush, like a hobby brush or nail polish type brush.....

Also I went to a body shop years ago to get some touch up paint for the Accord coupe I had at the time. They gave me a little bottle to use that basically turned the rust grey/black so I'm sure it was something similar. It was too long ago to find the bottle. But if you stop at a body shop that sells paint/body products they can probably hook you up with something that is safe to use.
