i heard there is a spray or brush on something that kills the rust and turns to black r]primer and that i can then touch up paint over it. What is this product cause the chips are like half the size of my pinky nail

Rust convertor: http://www.theruststore.com/Rust-Converters-C10.aspx

Also Naval Jelly: http://www.acehardware.com/sm-duro-n...i-1828700.html

I'm not sure how paint safe these are though. Perhaps if you protect the surrounding area and use a small paint brush, like a hobby brush or nail polish type brush.....

Also I went to a body shop years ago to get some touch up paint for the Accord coupe I had at the time. They gave me a little bottle to use that basically turned the rust grey/black so I'm sure it was something similar. It was too long ago to find the bottle. But if you stop at a body shop that sells paint/body products they can probably hook you up with something that is safe to use.
