Loud Chatter by Test Tipe Area...Please Help!.
Alright fellas finally got my greddy twins installed, now my issue is i got my ACT Clutch installed. Pedal feels great still having a hard time down shifting into gears, not sure if cause clutch is brand new but its a litle tougher to throw it in i gotta push harder. Now i know i have to give it about 500 miles to break it in so im taking it easy on it. But the problem is when the car is idle i hear a loud rattle from underneath my shifter when u get under the car u hear it real loudly i tried leaning shifter to one side and it mellowed down, now could a new clutch cause that chatter?. Also at the shop they installed the new shifter rod or w/e is called, sorry not very car tech savvy, but its what your shifter connects to, please def. need help on this. Thanks.

do you have test pipes and if so do the have resanotors in them cuz i had the same problem and it was the test pipes. Something broke lose inside the pipes and started rattling. it was very annoying
It could just be an adjustment on your test pipes there sitting too close to you floor board and when the exhaust vibrates it slaps the floor board causing kind of a loud rattle and usually on low rpms like slowing from a stop or taking off... you can test this by just reaching under your car and wiggle your test pipes a lil bit and see if they slap.... fairly common and usually is the passenger side... after market test pipes usually don't have that much clearance... so it's worth a look
