got 2 low PSI warning's in the past 2 months. When it dips below 28psi.. the dash automatically gives a beep and lights up the low tire pressure sign. well... i filled up my tires this morning to around 34-35 psi yet the sensor is still reading 30-31... When i drive on the freeway for a while it rises to about 32 psi thought... but the warning light is still on!! Anyone else have this problem?? I double checked with my own tire gauge and the one at the gas station and its reading @ 34psi.
Also, the tires look fine to the naked eye

I think the built-in pressure monitors under-report the tire presure. My tires are inflated to ~36psi (cold) according to my handheld gauge, but the tire pressure monitor in the car reports ~34psi in all four tires after a cold start. I get this 2psi difference consistently, so it doesn't really bother me.
It seems though that in your case the difference is substantial. You may want to have it looked at by your dealer the next time you bring it in for service.
