Default i need help!

yesterday i was driving home and my service engine soon light started blicking then steadly came on. every time i went back to 1st gear from every stop light my 1st gear was riding real shitty like dirty gas or bad plugs or i was thinking it might of been the fact that their is a recall on the fuel hose lines has anyone had this problem? or can anyone help me that might kno whats going on? thanks.

Stop by AutoZone and have the code read.

i would swing by auto zone and have your codes read. it could be not firing properly and you just notice it more in first because of the short gear ratio

yeah i changed me oil to royal purple and fram oil filter

Hmmm and this happened right after you changed the oil and filter? The service light would not set any codes that would be the check engine light. Its a possibility that the vehicle was not compadible with the oil and filter. Did you do the oil change yourself, or you had it done at a quick lube? Might want to check and make sure the airbox and all connections are ok. Oil Changers are notourus for leaving things loose.

*note, royal purple has horrible wear numbers for the VQ

The service engine soon light is the check engine light on nissans. Go get your codes checked.

As Tim pointed out 04Z3E's problem has nothing to do with the oil. A flashing CEL points to an extreme misfire which could damage the catalytic converter. 04Z3E should have shut the car off as soon as the CEL started to flash, but now that it's on steady just go get the car scanned.
