In a nutshell, I have had the 350z sitting in a garage for 6 months. Maybe started it up once about a month ago with the help of AAA jump starting it due to me forgetting to disconnect the batteries.
I left the car running for like an hour and drove it, but when i turned it off after the AAA jump the car didn't start back up. I went out and bought jumper cables and then was able to get it running and I moved it to my driveway to where it has been since then
I tried to jump the car a few days ago and it wouldn't start up. Just sputtered. I even left it running for around 30 min connected and then tried jumping it again and it still didn't start.
I am trying to think of what could be wrong. Do you think it needs a new battery? It has a bad starter? Something else?
Thanks.

James, you need a new battery.
The culprit seems to be a lack of storage ability/capacity that was lost due to lack of use.
New ones should be 100-$200 depending on different factors.

don't know if it's the same or not, but that happened to me a little bit ago. Ended up being that my cables weren't all the way tightened, and had a bad connection. Tightened them up, and no more issues. Hope it's that easy for you!
