So my keyfob on my 02 Max (same fob as the Z) goes out while I am shopping. I come out and the damn windows are down and the fob dooesn't work!

I replace the battery today and the lights flash 3 times and the front windows roll down, and the fob doesn't work. My other one does.

I reporgram both and the one that quit working doesn't work, but the other one does.


Thoughts? Why does it do that, wondows roll down and lights flash 3 times?

 

Actually, this is a problem with the Max and not the keyfob. I used to own an 01 SE, and I remember reading about this problem on Maxima.org frequently with 02/03 guys.

 

tried searching but couldn't find an answer on maxima forums.org

oh well, at least I have one that works!
