I have had this happen before, my Z Wont start. I have a full batter, all of my lights are as bright and stero working great. My alt is turning my car great. The car will not start because my alarm is engaged, (The light stays on when I am trying to start the car) This is probally because my key is cracked and not working great. There is a way to somehow disable the alarm with the key so I can start it. Can someone please post the how to I know its only like a two step deal somehow. Thank you.

you will have to go to dealer with keay and buy another key so they can program it to the car.

 

I just went through this today. When I first bought my car (Used) the key was messed up so I just superglued it and went on with my day. Every once in a while, my car would not start, but lately it has become very difficult to get it to start even though it cranks, turns over, and the battery is fine. I took it in today, and they just called to tell me my key was broken. At least it is nothing major, but $125 out of the pocket hurts.

 

Did the new key work? My z cranks fine, good battery, but it won't start. And it's intermittent. Sometimes it starts on the first try, sometimes it taked 6-8 attempts. It never stalls once it's started.
