Default Nubee needs help. Passager side window doesn't work.

Hello, my Z's passager side window is not working, I called in Nissan dealership the other day, they bring my car in for a check up ($95 for the check up), then leave the car there for day, then I can get it back and fixed; however, I asked him what is wrong with the car, what part has gone wrong, him just give three parts, and gave no price. that really sounds like a trap over there. Please tell me what is wrong with it, so I can find out problem myself, may be fix it or find out price for the parts.

Thank you.

My passenger side quit working a few days ago. I was waiting for one to quit working. Seems to be a common problem.

Got any idea of why it doesn't work? Most people said it because the rotor is done, but the dealership told there are also more components that cause the this problem, do you have any idea? Dealership didn't give me any quote and just told to leave the car in in shop, then come back the pick it back and pay, I was like freaking out, it sounds like a huge amount of money waiting for me to pay.

generally avoid dealerships.. 95$ to check on the problem? what *********.

there is a do it yourself fix that involves cleaning carbon off of the motor and sometimes that will get it running decent again..

most likely in for a couple hundred to fix it, though. sometimes if you just slam the door once it will loosen things up and it will work again.. pretty ghetto, and yeah it seems to be a common issue.

Man, what is the warrenty on your car? That man told me my car only had 35000 or 3 year whatever come first over the phone, but when the time I buying this used Z, I think I have heard the dealer saying something like 35000 or 3 years on something like a bumper to bumper, 45k or 50k whatever that is for 5 years on some another warrenty. Can't remeber what he told me.
