Default Passenger window goes up, then down a few inches...

I read in the manual how that means there's an obstruction. I checked though and can't find anything. As well it does it when the door is open, the window isn't hitting anything.

I don't know if this matters, but my dog was standing on me while in the driver seat, and he stepped on the window buttons, sending it down. Not sure if he did some weird combo of hitting buttons that makes it think it needs to be down a few inches now? Probably not, but figured I'd mention.

Any way to force it to not come down the few inches? The window seems a bit loose, like I can move it up and down about an inch or so, not sure if that is normal. Also where should I check for the obstruction if it's doing it with the door open? I couldn't see anything that should be causing it issues.

Any help apprecated... I live in an apartment, don't really want to park it with the window cracked down.

==================
Quick update - if I raise the passenger window using the driver side then hit the window lock when its at the top that forces it to stay up. Still want to fix the problem obviously but but that at least solves the short term problem.

There's nothing normal about a mechanical defect. It is common, however.

OP, you can take the door panel off and reset the motor (or have the dealership do it if under warranty). If your motor's switches have failed, a new motor will need to be installed.
