ok so when i hit my lock button the car beeps twice when i go to unlock it it beeps twice. i hold down the lock and the unlock button and the car shows the lights flashing but changes nothing.... also when i pop my trunk with the key when the car is locked the alarm will go off... if i press lock then unlock 4 times like lock unlock lock unlock the alaarm will go off and will not stop...i have an aftermarket double din i installed are there any wires back there that i could have messed up/? ANY IDEAS?

The locks and horn are controlled by the BCM which is behind the drivers kick panel so chancer are you didn't mess with that.

It acts like there is a problem with the system though. I assume it didn't behave like this prior to you installing the HU, yes? Did you do any other installs besides the HU? Run wires to the speakers, etc? Did you fool with the door switches?

well actualy i did put an aftermarket sub in the spot behind the drivers kick panel and threw an aftermarket sub in the spot where you can put the stock sub. and yes it started acting funny after installing the head-unit. i ran the remote wire by joining the blue wire from the stock harness. the head-unit was missing its stock harness and it was some knockoff so we opened the thing up and soldered an aftermarket harness to the motherboard then connected it back to the car harness. i noticed an orange cable hanging that couldnt connect to anything... any ideas when i tell you that? also the radio whistles because it has a problem being grounded i believe due to a solder being missed....
