omg child lock symtoms!

omg child lock symtoms!
Good day fellas
I got me a lil problem, tonight I went to the post office to drop off m$y car payment got out of the car and did my thang. Got back to my car afteer doin my duties only to find my doors are locked. They were actually unlocked and only able to open from the inside. I was not able to open the doors from the outside
luckily the hatch was unlocked! So my problem is that even if my doors are unlocked, I'm only able to open them from the inside of my car does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'm on a vacation here where I live and this is the only free time I got to work on it thanks in advance

my door locks are acting wierd! they can only open from the inside! they are unlocked right now but i wont be able to open the door from the handles outside the car so i gotta hold in my disarm button on my remote till the windows go down auto and then reach in and open the door from the interior handle!! noones had this prolem before?

so this is a new thing? that just occured? on both doors?
that's terribly strange. the door handles are mechanical. what happens to one doesn't effect the other...
as others stated, have you tried the key? I'm at a loss as to what could be the issue, unless its just locking itself...
experiment - open door, making sure its unlocked w/ window down. close door. now reopen from outside. did this fail to work on both doors? if so I have no idea.

It started off with the passenger door a couple of moths back, at that time I did think it was a mechanical problem I just didn't make time to troubleshoot it.
I've tried windows down locking then unlocking via remote and I'm still unable to get the outer door handles to open the door
I've tried locking and unlocking with the key and still didn't work
Today I will attempt to remove the ext door handles and just peek in there to check if anything looks faulty
I'm hoping it aint an electrical problem cause those prolems are costy
