I noticed mine is always off, too. Even if someone is sitting in the seat. Never thought about taking it in, though. Maybe I should now.

Keep the broken sensors and give owners two free window motors. That would be a better deal.

What if we got both for free? That would be the ultimate deal. But then again, I have no problems with my windows...

It's about time... I brought this up to a tech a few months back, and he basically told me "oh well"

Well I was just in the dealer getting an oil change on Tuesday and they did not say anything to me about it. But then again the individual dealerships may not know about the issues yet.

And yes I have the same problem with when someone is in the passenger seat that sometimes it says the the bag is off and on..

Wow, and all this time I thought it was because the girls riding were just too light to trigger the sensor to turn on the airbag.

Haha, I yelled at my girlfriend to sit properly in her seat, and then when that didn't work we assumed she was too light.

I just called the Nissan number. Basically it stated that the airbag light will flash continueously if the vehicle is affected. It is not all models but some models and you will find out in early November......So how many of us are riding around with jacked up airbags? They say its not because of a crash but how many people actually contact nissan when they wreck a car (I work in auto claims). I bet it just deployed on someone randomly.

Yeah, mine doesn't flash, but it just seems it comes on whenever it wants. If nobody is sitting there, sometimes it will be on, sometimes not. I might contact Nissan Canada and see what they say about it.

me too -- never thought much about it. I was taking a friend home yesterday and notice that airbag light stay lit. I ask her to move around in the seat but the warning light didn't go away. I will look into this safety issue.
