Is anyone else's oil pressure and voltage meters doing this?

I let my friend drive the Z the other day. Big mistake. He revved the heck out of it, right to redline (which I have never done) and now my oil pressure and voltage meter pods have gone a little crazy.
Normally, the oil pressure meter is at around 40 psi at idle and a bit past 60 psi under semi WOT and the voltage meter stays at or under 12 volts. Now, the oil pressure meter is a bit past 80 psi at idle and goes past 120 psi even when driving normally and the voltage meter is way up there as well. The thing is, there is not any rough, uneven, or higher idle and everything else seems normal. I even loosened and tightened up the oil cap to try to relieve the pressure but it didn't work.
Is my car going to explode or will the pods eventually come back to normal?

the cooler it is, the higher the pressures will be under a given throttle load.
You are probably just being paranoid. Redline your car all you want. It's not bad for it unless you do it every time you hit the gas.
I think the real question is - why do you own a Z if you never take it to redline?

Actually "RedLining" your car is bad for it. Now, if you do it one time, it probably won't mess anything up. Get your friend to pay for an inspection at the stealership, after all, he's the one that jacked up your car.
"The tachometer indicates engine speed in revolutions
per minute (rpm). Do not rev engine into
the red zone." 2-5

sounds like the sensors have a bad ground somewhere...seems like your oil pressure is adjusting like it's supposed to...just shifted by an offset.
of course, you could just be watching it on a cold day, before the car is warmed up. in that case, take your panties off, and quit freaking out. Let the car fully warm up and check it out.

Redlining is bad for your car? Since when? The rev limiter is there for a reason. And the volt meter should be above 12 anyway, more like 14. Oil pressure gauge varies quite a bit, more so than in any of my other cars. I think most other cars, the gauge is "dumbed down" so it doesn't freak people out. As mentioned, it varies by temperature; when the oil is cold, the pressure will read higher; it should go up when you jump on the throttle as opposed to just idling. Skip the inspection, you have nothing to worry about.

A few points:
-my car is an 03 and out of warranty
-I'm well aware that oil pressure is higher when the engine is cold and goes lower when the engine warms; the problem is that it stays above 120 psi even with gentle acceleration in 3rd whether the engine is cold or warm
-redlining is bad for the engine if done on a regular basis or during the break in period
-if the fix is really $300, I'm not going to bother
-lastly, I love the self-righteous, driving gestapo morons here who go around telling people what to do with their cars; I'll make a deal with you all, I won't tell you how to drive your car so don't tell me how to drive mine

seriously...most of these sensors are just looking at a voltage between 0-12V or 0-5V that varies based off its input (oil pressure here). It sounds like you have some sort of DC offset causing the voltage to read by some set amount off of what it is supposed to be.
OR
the needle could have gotten moved on the gauge. How? i have no clue. But you could take apart the gauge and shift it back to being spot on. Happens to guys who change out their Speedometers if they aren't careful. Any guage can be shifted by some set amount unless they are the auto-calibrating needles that sweep from end to end first.
