Default P0302 cylinder 2 misfire :(

I've searched for this and couldnt find anything on it but.. my Z had a lil misfire today while it was idling but i had to be somewhere so i just took off didnt run the car hard or anything but then when i was on my way home it did it again at a red light then the check engine light came on... so i get home and get my reader and i have code P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire... i have an 03 5AT with 68K no oil issues changed the plugs to iridium ones about 30k ago... so my question is if anyone have had to replace coils?

I think the most common cause is a bad coil pack, which is about $100 and easy to replace.

There can be other causes but this is the most common. Search the forums for "misfire" or "P0302", "P0305" (cylinder #5), etc.

Best way to test if it is a coil. Find cylinder # 2. Switch it up with another known #'d cylinder. Road test till the misfire happens again. Recheck the CEL. And if the car now misses at the new # placement then it's the coil. If it is still at # 2 then it is another problem.
