Default CEL and stalling after exhaust install

Hi everyone, It's been over a week since i got my Bassani installed and earlier today my check engine light came on? Also, everytime i start my car the RPM needle drops and the engine stalls. But when i step on the gas before it drops all the way, it won't stall. It's been doing this the day i got it installed but it never stalled and the check engine light never came on till today. Does anyone know what's causing this?
-Exhaust leak
-loose plenum bolts
Im sure it isn't the bolts since iv'e had the plenum spacers for over a month with no problems. I plan on bringing it back to the shop sometime this week but want to know the problem ahead of time. Any info will help a lot!

Thanks!

Doesn't make sense. You can throw the exhaust in the trash (after the catelitic converters), and the car will run fine.

A code would be helpful.

Yea, im thinking it isn't the exhaust. It just started happening after the install and it seems to be getting worse over time. Im at the point where the car would just shut down after each startup and i need to hit the gas a little to prevent it. Im curious why my CEL light is on tho? Anyway i disconnected the batteries and ill check again tomorrow. Thanks!

I would jack the car up and make sure that they didn't disconnect something like O2 sensors or anything but I would take it to advance first and let them run a scanner on it.

Well i reconnected the batteries n the CEL is gone. However the startup is still acting up a little. It didn't stall but it felt like it was about to? I will take it to advance auto or autozone and have them scan it. Thanks!

its normal when i install my spark plug.........cuz once you discon. the neg. battery for a period of time then you will have like this issue.....start the car then RPM is drop to lowest and stall.......someone told me cuz you just reset the ecu, ur car will need to re-adjusting the throttle......this will still happend for like couple of days or so........if ur car is still stalling after one week, take it to get code................i have same problem as you mentioned, so it will be gone like a week or so!

So this is normal? I was curious cuz i disconnected the batteries after the install for 30min and everything was fine till couple days later when i start stalling every startup and the CEL. Anyway what do you think caused the CEL? Like i said i disconnected the batteries for the night and the CEL came off but the startup problem is still here Anyway thanks for the response, that somewhat made me feel better If this don't go away in a couple of days ill get it scanned for codes.
