Default window HELP...unique issue

Im having a unique problem with both of my windows. The windows go up and down fine, with and without the auto function, and with or without the door closed. But once the key is turned off, as soon as i open my door to get out of the car, both of the windows roll ALL the way back down simotaneously. I tried the window motor reset procedure plenty of times but its not fixing my problem. I'm sure its a completely different problem.

It only happens when my key is OFF and when i open the door, BOTH windows will roll ALL the way down at the same exact time...as if im holding the unlock button on my keyfob.

I left my battery unhooked for all of last night (about 12 hours) and it didnt change anything. I also checked all fuses in all three panels...everything is good. I'm completey stumped. :helpsmilie:

And maybe if i explained how this first happened, someone might be able to better help me...

i pulled into the garage, turned off my car, tried to roll up my windows, but they were both acting sporadic. after trying to get them to stay up, all of a sudden my passenger window stopped working altogether and my drivers window instantly took on the problem mentioned above. so i popped off the passenger panel, cleaned out the motor and reinstalled it. still wouldnt move. went to autozone and replaced the motor and now both windows operate properly when the key ON

I've been able to narrow it down a LITTLE though...

The problem may be in the door unlock switch on the driver's door. With power otherwise removed from the power window circuits, you can open or close both windows simultaneously by inserting the key into the switch and holding it to UNLOCK (both windows open) or LOCK (both windows close). When you first turn the ignition off, power is retained by the power window system for 45 seconds or until either door is opened. If your door unlock switch is stuck in the UNLOCK position, when you open the door and remove power from the power window system, the door unlock switch takes over and opens both windows.

So in other words...if i turn off my key, and just sit in my car without opening the doors yet, after 45 seconds, my window roll down.

I thought for sure it was just a bad switch on the drivers door...but i bought a new one and it didnt fix the problem. Im getting extremely frustrated because i dont wanna take it to the dealer...i KNOW i can fix it...just need some ideas!
