My driver side window motor died. I tried the cleaning trick, it didn't work.

So I ordered a new track and motor. The other problem though is, the window is in the down position. I can't get it to go back up. How do I remove the sucker, so I can install the new component's and get this thing running again?

You should try to search it before start the new thread anyways good luck on your new windows motor.

I think you can unbolt the regulator from the window and pull the window up with your hand manually

 

I just had to change my driver side window motor and all you have to do is remove the window motor cover ( three screws ) and then manually turn the motor armature to raise the window to the upmost ( closed ) position and then follow the directions in the window motor repair thread and replace the window motor.
