I'm assuming that they probably updated the rear subframe during 2006 when they revised some of the suspension pieces. I would buy an updated one, but I already purchased my replacement subframe for $75 and I never had alignment issues with my car with the old subframe (I'm replacing due to an accident I got in.)

When I ordered my superseded rear subframe component, I was told that it looked like the component had only recently been very superseded. It would be really interesting to know for sure.

Out of curiousity Kwame is the subframe you purchased out of a write-off car (if so what year), or a new part given where you work?

I had to replace my 2003 oem rear subframe because it was cracked.

I can confirm when I ordered for my 2003 I was provided 55400CD02A. Before installing the frame I also replaced the bushes with the whiteline ones.

Interesting. So was it an accident that caused the crack, or you'd love to know why it cracked?
