bogus tire pressure warning during trip
Took my Z down to Fla. last week and started out with about 39 psi in each tire. (I had added a little extra pressure to hopefully help with the gradual tire feathering problem.) After about 30 min. on the interstate the tire pressures had come up to 41 psi. (The tire pressure monitors and my electronic gauge were in pretty close agreement.) At this pressure, though, the low tire pressure light came on.
I pulled off of the interstate and verified that I had good pressure in each tire - about 41 psi. But, thinking that 41 may be slightly higher than the computer wanted to see, I let about 2 psi out of each wheel, down to 39 psi.
Back on the interstate, the tires once again built up to 41 psi and the light came back on. Knowing that there was no real problem, I went to Fla. and back with the light on. Each time I stopped, the tires cooled, the light went out, but then came back on when the tires heated up.
Does everyone have this problem: the warning coming on at interstate speeds?

Hope you get your problems worked out. You may decide to keep the aftermarket wheels and not use the presure monitors.

Mine came on today in garage at a cold start said I had 27 psi but tire gauges (used 2 different ones) said 35psi just like they are supposed to have. While driving the sensors went up to 31. I have stock tires/wheels for touring. So warning light won't go off and I will have to wait till after labor day to get same in to dealer. Hope they don't try to tell me it's my tint cuz I have had that for awhile and no problems. Any ideas?

I went on a run last night for 2 hours, on the way back, the light came on. If anything, the tires are hot, so it should be higher on PSI. Went to bed, and this morning going to get some air for the tires and the light is gone.
