Hi guys. About 2 months ago my car (07 HR) started having this ringing sound that you hear when the TV is on. I gave it to the shop for diagnosing but they said nothing is wrong with it. Am I hearing things? The ring is so loud it irritates me... It goes away just when I'm abuot to idle...

Sounds like some corrision with your power/speaker wires. Does the whinning sound get louder and quiter as you step on the pedal?

 

Hmm. I think it gets quiet as I step on it. Maybe because of my exhaust? I'll take a note of the power/speaker wires. How would it get corroded though?

By the way, what year is your Z?
